JEN Nominees P/L began as Rob One Transport in 1988 with a single owner driver delivering boxed cryovac meat in a small truck for meat wholesalers and traders within metropolitan Melbourne.

Very soon, Rob Nicolaidis, the founder of Rob One Transport, discovered that there was a demand for a reliable refrigerated meat carrier within Victoria. Within 18 months Rob One Transport had grown to 2 trucks, and in 1996 the company expanded it’s customer base and delivery destinations, and Tacka Transport was created, specializing in distribution in select country Victoria locations and southern NSW. Today Rob One and Tacka Transport has six state-of-the-art delivery vehicles with up to 10 pallet capacity.

Rob One & Tacka Transport has continued to expand its delivery schedule to include greater country Victoria as well as metropolitan Melbourne, and is still offering a service to southern NSW. The company has diversified to include warehousing and order-picking as well as distribution, and is currently distributing products for several large processed food producers within Victoria.

There are now over 14 staff, including drivers and administrative staff, with the company still being managed with vision and high standards by Rob.

The company prides itself on having gained a high standard of service, and maintaining that level of service for several years, and thus gaining an excellent reputation within the transport industry in Victoria.
